How Is Human Design Center Determined?

Contemporary interpretive framework. Human Design is a modern synthesis drawing on the I Ching, astrology, Kabbalah, and the Hindu chakra system. It is not a medical or psychological assessment.

A center is defined (colored in) when at least one gate within it is activated by a planetary position in your chart and that activation forms a channel connection to another defined gate. A center is open (white) when no such channel connection runs through it. The nine centers map loosely onto the Hindu chakra system but follow the channel-and-gate circuit logic of Human Design specifically.
