How Is Human Design Authority Determined?

Contemporary interpretive framework. Human Design is a modern synthesis drawing on the I Ching, astrology, Kabbalah, and the Hindu chakra system. It is not a medical or psychological assessment.

Your authority is identified by looking at which centers are defined in your bodygraph chart, then applying a hierarchy: Solar Plexus authority takes precedence if that center is defined, followed by Sacral, Splenic, Ego, Self-Projected (G center), Mental (for certain Projectors), and finally Lunar (exclusive to Reflectors). The idea is that the authority indicates which internal signal to follow when making decisions.
